Development Manager - Corporate Fundraising*

Home Based or Hybrid / Office (London Office Location) | £60,000 per annum FTE

| 3 days per week, Freelance (12 month contract)

WR Fundraising Recruitment has an amazing opportunity to work with the amazing partnership We3Can.

 

This powerhouse partnership has been developed by Sarcoma UK, Brain Tumour Research and Leukaemia UK

 

We3Can is an ambitious collaboration of the three charities to fund research into prevention, treatment and cures for the most common childhood cancers.

Its purpose is "Funding research into better, kinder treatments to help cure kids' cancer."

 

We’re looking for a strategic Corporate Partnerships expert to lead in developing and managing high value strategic fundraising partnerships with brands not usually open to the charities as stand-alone causes.

 

This role is offered only on a FREELANCE basis.

It is a 12 month contact with extension by agreement

 

Duties will include:

  • Work collaboratively across the We3Can partnership to identify funding opportunities
  • Develop and implement a strategic income generation plan to and achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Develop innovative plans and strategies and tactics for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of corporate partners
  • Drive forward inspiring new partnerships that will motivate public fundraising and increase brand profile
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals and pitches that articulate the mutual benefits to potential partners.
  • Develop relationships with current external stakeholders, and identify and cultivate relationships with new ones
  • Work closely across the partnership in the to seize cross-team opportunities to increase income and awareness

 

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in cultivating high-level relationships with corporate partners
  • Proven track record of developing new, high value relationships across the corporate sector.
  • Experience of working on complex long strategic partnerships with multiple objectives (financial/non-financial)
  • Experience of developing, managing and stewarding high value partners of £100,000+.
  • Considerable relevant experience of managing corporate partnerships across strategic partnerships, cause-related marketing and employee fundraising
  • Aptitude for partnership development, complex negotiation, and excellent business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key influencers and stakeholders
