Fundraising Manager

Devon with Hybrid Working | Up to £35,000 per annum | Full Time, Permanent

We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are extremely proud to be working with a hugely important regional charity which provides services, and hope, for those affected by domestic abuse in all its forms. This inspirational charity is now seeking a Fundraising Manager for the Devon area.

 

Building strong relationships with corporate sponsors and fostering connections with key community groups, the Fundraising Manager will maximise the charity’s impact and engagement. You’ll get the chance to lead on a calendar of in-house events, as well as lending your expertise to third-parties, and pool of volunteers!

 

The Fundraising Manager will be the driving force behind developing and leading fundraising activities across Devon, so this exciting and varied role is a great opportunity to make your mark on regional fundraising for the charity!

 

A full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential as the role will require you to showcase your public speaking skills and travel throughout Devon.

 

Duties will include:

  • Leading the execution of a fundraising strategy for Devon, encompassing Corporate and Community Fundraising
  • Building and nurturing relationships with a wide range of donors, including corporations, community groups, and individuals, to secure ongoing support
  • Planning, organising, and delivering impactful fundraising events across Devon
  • Delivering public talks to raise awareness and secure local support for the charity
  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteer fundraisers, empowering them to contribute effectively to achieving fundraising goals

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of building successful supporter relationships with donors and volunteers
  • Be a confident and skilled communicator, able to build relationships with a range of community groups, corporations, and individuals
  • Have outstanding planning, organisational, and implementation skills
  • Be willing and able to travel across the area and occasionally work outside of normal hours
  • Have a full Driving Licence, and access to a vehicle
