WVS sends vets where they are needed most, provides expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ships urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year. During 2025, WVS treated over 158,000 animals, trained over 4,300 veterinary professionals, and shipped more than 1,700 medical aid parcels.

We’re recruiting for a newly created Individual Giving Manager position to develop the income stream across multiple channels – stewarding a very loyal supporter base and implementing routes to donor acquisition.

This is a newly created role and a brilliant opportunity to shape and grow individual giving at a pivotal time for the organisation. Working closely with fundraising and marketing colleagues, the Individual Giving Manager will review and develop existing income streams, identify new opportunities and deliver sustainable growth from individual supporters.

This is a varied and strategic role, combining planning, delivery and hands-on fundraising campaign management, while working closely with colleagues and volunteers. WVS is currently investing in marketing channels and this dedication to comms will compliment the IG Manager role brilliantly.

Duties will include:

• Developing and delivering a long-term individual giving strategy
• Manage the day-to-day development and execution of individual giving campaigns to generate repeat gifts and grow income
• Growing income from appeals, regular giving and donor development programmes
• Planning and delivering multi-channel fundraising campaigns
• Developing supporter journeys to improve retention and lifetime value
• Using data and insight to drive performance and decision-making
• Working collaboratively across marketing, PR and engagement activity

The ideal candidate will:

• Knowledge and experience of the principles of direct marketing, database and donor acquisition, retention / development
• Knowledge of strategies, approaches and techniques used specifically to fundraise from individual giving, using a variety of channels from digital to direct mail
• Experience in managing regular giving, donor acquisition and retention campaigns
• Experience of monitoring and analysing direct marketing campaigns
• Experience of successfully identifying new income streams and providing strategic direction for further development
• Ability to or experience of developing and implementing an individual giving strategy.
• Be confident using CRM systems and fundraising data
