This exception charity is dedicated to maximizing the quality of life for infants, children, and young people facing life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This brilliant charity distinguishes itself through its personalised approach, meticulously tailoring its care to meet the unique needs of each individual and their family.


We're looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Officer to be part of an already successful fundraising team looking to expand their reach into the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills to raise crucial funds for a cause that really matters.


Full UK Driving Licence is required

 

Duties will include:

  • Building and developing relationships within the community
  • Working in the community to promote and inspire new, exciting fundraising ideas and initiatives
  • Representing the charity at local community events
  • Working with the marketing team to share stories about supporter fundraising successes
  • Recruiting, marshalling and guiding fundraising volunteers when appropriate

 

The ideal candidates will:

  • The ability to develop fundraising relationships for a charity
  • Be self-motivated and organised, with good time management skills
  • Have a friendly communication style with the ability to inspire colleagues, volunteers, and supporters
  • Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with volunteers and other fundraising groups
