WR Fundraising Recruitment are on the lookout for someone excited about corporate fundraising, to join one of the region’s most respected charities.

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join a growing team and work with local businesses to steward and generate fundraising support while developing corporate volunteering opportunities.

Working with existing and new business supporters, we’re looking for someone with a real passion for fundraising with the ability to steward relationships.

This is a home based role and there will be plenty of travel across the area.

Key responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Engage with local businesses in the community
• Steward, nurture and develop existing relationships with local business and corporate supporters
• Encourage, support, engage and nurture local business and corporate supporters to create and build new opportunities
• Meet & engage with potential and existing supporters via networking breakfasts / lunches & or dinner business clubs.
• Represent the charity in visits to potential supporters & interest groups, giving talks & presentations, hosting meetings and exhibitions and attend cheque presentations when required.

The ideal candidate for this role will: 

• Have experience in and a passion for fundraising (ideally with corporate partnerships) or in a business development / income generation focussed role
• Be an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver presentations and hold the room
• Have the ability to recognise and develop opportunities for support
• Have excellent relationship building and client management skills
• Have a full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
