WR Fundraising Recruitment is delighted to collaborate with an established charity in Cambridge to assist them in their search for a skilled fundraising professional to join their team.

This well-established charity offers a range of free support for young people up to the age of 25 in the areas of mental health, sexual health, family problems, housing and money and benefits.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled fundraiser who is experienced working within Corporate Partnerships, Trusts and Foundations, Community and Events to showcase their ability and help move the charity forward.

This presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to further develop their own skills set whilst making a significant difference for a wonderful organisation.

Duties will include:

• Approach and build relationships with the funders and prospective donors within the local community
• Assist in the preparation of trusts and foundations applications and bids.
• Planning and coordinating regular fundraising events.
• Write compelling and engaging proposals.
• Scope new and respond to opportunities, alongside other team members.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in two of the following; Corporate Partnerships, Trusts, Community and Events.
• Excellent MS Office skills; Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and persuasive skills, written and verbally.
• Open to new ways of working, learning new tasks and skills as required.
