We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are thrilled to be working with a highly respected regional charity, which provides advice and services to people suffering from homelessness. This wonderful charity is now seeking a Head of Income & Engagement to join their team!

As Head of Income & Engagement, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing an income generation strategy which will ensure the long-term stability of the charity, as well as overseeing the charity’s communications.

We’re looking for a collaborative and strategically-minded fundraiser with solid experience of compiling successful bid and grant applications, from conception right through to reporting, as well as the ability to empower and inspire a team of hardworking fundraisers and volunteers.

This is a vital role for a hugely important charity, and a real opportunity for you to make your mark as Head of Income & Engagement.

Duties will include:

• Developing and implementing a robust and sustainable income generation strategy
• Crafting and submitting high-quality funding applications and bids
• Reporting on fundraising activities, both to funders and the board of trustees
• Leading a multi-disciplinary team of fundraisers to create impactful campaigns and build a sustainable network of supporters
• Managing the charities internal and external communications

The ideal candidate will:

• Have demonstrable experience of income generation, particularly from trusts and foundations
• Be a persuasive and versatile communicator, capable of building and maintaining strong and impactful relationships
• Have the ability to lead and inspire a team of fundraisers and community volunteers
• Be a strategically-minded and collaborative fundraising leader
• Have a solid understanding of data management and reporting
