We are looking for a Regional Fundraising Officer to join the income generation team at an exciting time of growth to focus on new corporate partnerships and community fundraising opportunities across Surrey.

This is a remote / home based opportunity with expectation to be in the office as little as once a month.

By the nature of the role, we’re looking for someone who is happy to get out and about – meeting prospected supporters and developing relationships for the charity.

Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle required

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Build a pipeline of corporate business supporters in Surrey
• Engage with local businesses and organisations to actively develop supporters to donate income
• Prepare and present high-quality new business proposals, pitches, and presentations to win new business
• Manage, monitor, and increase donations through community fundraising, community groups, schools, golf clubs, and other groups/clubs in Surrey
• Recruit participants for our range of events, including sponsored running and in-house bespoke events
• Support and recruit DIY fundraisers and provide them with resources to maximise income

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

• Experience within a fundraising role OR demonstrable transferable experience perhaps is a sales / account manager or business development related role
• Experience in public speaking with the ability to hold a variety of audiences
• Ability to create and maintain key relationships with businesses’ and senior professionals
• Excellent networking skills
• A passion for fundraising
• The ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
