We are on the lookout for a Senior Fundraising Officer, focussing on trusts at their core, to work with disadvantaged communities and as part of their trust fundraising team, deal with significant statutory sources and medium-high value grants – through trusts and foundations. The Senior Fundraising Officer we’re looking for, will have worked on bids and tenders and be comfortable with managing relationships.

There is plenty of scope for personal development in this role, as you will get the opportunity to manage your own team of three fundraisers, so if you’re looking to make a step up into team management, this could be the role for you! Key responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Leading and managing strategic tender submissions
• Being responsible for the development, writing and submission of bids tenders and grants
• Preparing and writing high quality funding applications
• Managing relationships within the trusts and foundations department
• Writing high quality funding applications to submit to a variety of funding bodies
• Helping identify new funding streams and actively develop relationships with potential partners
• The line management of three colleagues

The ideal candidate for this role will: 

• Be experienced with bids and tenders
• Have a proven track record of winning major grants and statutory contracts, within trusts and foundations
• Be experienced with high quality research to identify grant funding opportunities
• Be a brilliant communicator, with the ambition to succeed
• Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects 
• Focus on solutions, being innovative and creative to overcome challenges
