WR Fundraising Recruitment is working with a fantastic local charity – looking for a new Supporter Care Officer to join a small, growing team.

If you know what it means to deliver excellent customer services coupled with solid administration and data entry skills, this would be a great opportunity to join a fundraising team and represent the charity to its donors and supporters.

You’ll have the ability to work collaboratively in a small team and get stuck in to a position with bags of potential to develop, while working closely with an inspiring manager and bringing your own ideas to the table.

Duties will include:

• Delivering the highest level of frontline service to all donors and prospective supporters, building strong and loyal relationships through written and verbal communications
• Dealing with a variety of donor enquiries, problem solving and deliver positive outcomes for our supporters
• Ensuring efficient administration of donations and maintenance of accurate database records
• Being the first point of contact for existing and potential supporters
• Act as an ambassador for the fundraising team, responding to enquiries or picking up donations and/or collections, thanking donors for their support
• Accurately inputting and processing donations (cash & cheques) to ensure income records are up to date and accurate
• Creating and sending tailored thank you’s to supporters
• Accurately managing and updating supporter records on the database

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working in a customer service environment, and knowledge of what makes excellent customer care
• Experience of using databases
• Experience of high quality call handling in a customer service environment
• Able to work effectively across teams
• Experience of managing own workload
